Spooky Scary Culture Stories with Liberating Structures

October 19, 2021 @ 2:00 am - 3:00 am CEST

Welcome to the fun (and scary) Halloween-special introduction to Liberating Structures (LS)!

Created by Keith McCandless and Henri Lipmanowicz, inspired by complexity science, Liberating Structures are the 33 + facilitation methods designed to include and unleash everyone in the group.
Join Dana Pylayeva to start learning about Liberating Structures and to take a deep dive into organizational culture dysfunctions. We will use “Tiny Monsters” to dig up some scary stories from your Agile/ DevOps/Digital transformation initiatives. You will join Zoom breakout rooms for small group conversations and observe Vegas rules to create a safe space in these discussions.

With the help of a second structure – Wise Crowds, you will get to tap into the wisdom of the room! Together we will uncover practices and mindset changes that can help shift the culture towards learning and psychological safety. Feeling adventurous? Wear a Halloween costume for a chance to win a prize!

Dana Pylayeva is an international keynote speaker, author, trainer and coach, who is passionate about unleashing leadership potential in teams and organizations. She is the only woman in New York State to earn Certified Enterprise Coach(CEC) designation from Scrum Alliance.
A leader of the global Agile community, she serves as a program chair for Agile2021, runs several local meetups in NYC, co-leads the “Voice of Scrum Alliance in Russia” group, and coaches agilists from around the World.
