Facilitation Tool Workshop
September 12 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm CEST

How would you get a group of people to create the next supervillain? Using GroupMap, we’ll use a range of methodologies to brainstorm, plan and get feedback in order to build consensus. From anonymous brainstorming, voting, using perceptual maps, scoring, and feedback, you’ll be able to join in the action or be an active observer. This session shows a range of templates, tools, and technologies you can add to your facilitation tool kit whether people are sitting in the same room, or around the world.
GroupMap is a digital collaboration tool designed to facilitate group decision-making, brainstorming, and problem-solving. Stemming from the university classroom for student engagement, it has since been used by industry, government, and professional facilitators to allow real-time ideation. People can easily contribute ideas, discuss concepts and prioritize for action in a structured and organized way, saving time and money.
Using guided facilitation and visual templates, it gives each person a voice while giving facilitators the ability to tailor meetings and events to their outcomes. It will give you a range of facilitation techniques that you can use with your clients.
This session is a participate-by-choice event that will provide an overview of how GroupMap has been used in various case studies, a quick overview of its functionality and then an active workshop where you’ll see how a group of people can think better together.
