An Introduction to Social Presencing Theater
September 13 @ 3:00 am - 4:30 am CEST
Social Presencing Theater (SPT) is a social arts form that integrates mindfulness, embodiment & systems thinking to enable awareness based leadership & systems change. SPT is co-developed by Arawana Hayashi and practitioners at Presencing Institute and MIT (USA). It has been applied in leadership and systems transformation across business, government, UN and civil society sectors worldwide.
This is not “theater” in the conventional sense, but uses simple body postures, movements, and spatial design to dissolve limiting concepts, to communicate directly, to access intuition, and to make visible both current realities, and the deeper–often invisible–leverage points for creating profound change.
In this 90 min online session, Manish Srivastava, will introduce SPT as a social art and awareness based practice and guide us through some simple exercises and share some application stories.
