Accessible Facilitation: Communication

🧐 Did you know? 1 in 5 people in the Global North have accessibility needs that can impact their participation.
As workshop leaders, it is our role to provide a space where every participant feels comfortable and included.

Join us as we consider strategies to improve the experience of all attendees, in three acts: Design, Communication and Delivery.

In this session, we will look at Communication:

• How can we appropriately invite participants to share their access needs ahead of time?
• What kind of information would be useful to communicate before registration to prospective participants, to help them decide if the session will be accessible enough for them?
• What are the good practices?
